Automation levels, private memory, path memory, and constraints

September 29, 2026

29 Sep 2026

What shipped in TeamShared since yesterday:

  • Automation levels. Each org picks full_automation, balanced (default, same as before), or gated, with per-area overrides. Settings → Automation shows the map; only a person can change it.
  • Reviews for ontology and contradictions. New typed entities, rekinds, merges, and same-subject contradictions can go through the review queue when the org asks for it. Defaults stay auto, so nothing changes until you flip a policy.
  • Who decides held work. The org's decider rule now covers every review kind. Destructive, publish, and spend pauses stay on unless you override them by name.
  • Private memory stays private. Profile, recall graph expansion, entity view, and console listings all respect scope. Another member's user/agent/team/project rows no longer show up in yours.
  • Path-scoped memory. memory_remember(..., paths=[...]) and memory_for_paths let coding agents ask what we already know about a file. Distill tags episodes from Read/Edit/Write turns.
  • Verbatim constraints. MCP prompt constraints and teamshared://constraints return standing rules as stored (not clipped profile prose), so they survive /compact. Re-attach after SessionStart and compaction.

PRs: teamshared-ai/teamshared #1037, #1047, #1048, #1051, #1052, #1053, #1054.
